Baku hosted the "Dialogue of the Youth Forum" on the topic "Buildingbridges among societies", organized by the Italian University Ca'Foscari University of Venice and the Topchubashev Center.
In the culture section, Azerbaijan was represented by photoartistAgdes Baghirzade. Her presentation consisted of two parts: "Venicethrough the prism of an artist" and "Elements of Italian culture inthearchitectural heritage of Baku in the 19th-20th centuries."
Both the architecture and the people living in Venice were presented. In the second section, the houses of famous pre-revolutionary Baku residents Murtuza Mukhtarov and Zeynalabdin Tagiyev were explored and described.
Peering into the architecture of the mansions, Agdes explores and emphasizes the visual facts of the influence of the aesthetics of Italian architects on the building boom in Baku at the beginning of the last century.
Agdes Baghirzade is one of the participants of the 59th Venice Biennale of the National Pavilion of Azerbaijan with the project “The other side of me”.
