Events on the occasion of Gurban Bayram were held in types of troops of the Azerbaijan Army, the Combined Arms Army and special educational institutions.
First, during the events, the memory of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev and Shehids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
The congratulations of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, on the occasion of Gurban Bayram, were conveyed to the military personnel.
A feast of the sacrifice was held with the participation of servicemen, and festive tables were served for them.
According to the instructions of the Minister of Defense, the military personnel visited the families of Shehids and heroes, who lost their health, they were congratulated by the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and presented with festive gifts.
