Dear exhibition participants and guests!
I greet you on the occasion of the 4th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition, ADEX-2022, and wish success to all participants.
The ADEX exhibition, which has already become a traditional event has been transformed into an important platform for developing military-technical cooperation and demonstrating the most advanced weaponry, equipment, and technologies.
The exhibition brings together the world's well-known military industry enterprises, acclaimed foreign companies and organisations, official delegations, and specialists, thus creating great opportunities for establishing business relationships and signing new contracts.
ADEX-2022 is the first international defence exhibition organised by Azerbaijan after the brilliant victory in the Patriotic War. Demonstrating the local military equipment that proved itself during real combat operations at the event further increases its significance.
The combat experience of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, which conducted the war of the 21st century, is presently diligently studied by the military centers of developed countries. In highly complex terrain conditions, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces broke through the fortified defence lines by leveraging the most modern combat weapons and forced the enemy to surrender in just 44 days.
The historical victory of Azerbaijan showed that to achieve the goals set in the military field, it is imperative to build a modern army and implement consistent and determined measures to increase the country's military power.
The Republic of Azerbaijan always attaches particular importance to increasing the Armed Forces' combat capability and strengthening the material and technical base. Our country is developing cooperation with the world’s advanced countries in the military-technical field, and likewise expands its capabilities in the field of the national defence industry.
Currently, Azerbaijan closely cooperates with the major companies from over 50 countries in aviation, navigation, device manufacturing, and other fields. Hence, the volume of the products produced in our country’s defence industry enterprises is increasing yearly.
We will further strengthen the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and the defence capability of our country in the coming period, paying special attention to the production of modern weapons, military equipment, ammunition, rear service assets for support and logistics, and other material means.
I am confident that the ADEX-2022 exhibition will create a favorable opportunity for exchanging useful experiences and establishing new partnerships and will positively contribute to increasing the scientific and technological potential of the Azerbaijani defence industry.

From September 6 to 8 in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan 4th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition “ADEX” and 13th International Exhibition for Internal Security, Safety and Rescue Equipment “Securex Caspian” will be held.
ADEX will take place on the initiative and with the organisational support of the Ministry of Defence Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan and support of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event's organisation has been entrusted to Caspian Event Organisers.
The exhibition of modern weapons and equipment ADEX will take place after a forced break caused by the pandemic. The special significance of the exhibition is given by the fact that it is held for the first time after the glorious victory of Azerbaijan in the second Karabakh war. The exhibition will demonstrate the strength and power of the country's military-industrial complex and modern weapons, which played an exceptional role in the victory of the Azerbaijani army.
ADEX will bring together 208 companies, occupying three pavilions and outdoor space at Baku Expo Center, demonstrating a 5% increase in exhibition area. The exhibitors will represent the leading defense industry companies from Bulgaria, China, France, Netherlands, Italy and other countries. This year, companies from Jordan are the first-time exhibitors. 8 countries will be represented with national stands. It should be noted that many countries have increased the area of their national expositions.
The general sponsor of the exhibition is “Jadara Equipment & Defense Systems”, the gold sponsor is “Turkish Aerospace”, and the bronze sponsor is “ASFAT”.
The exhibition will represent the following sectors: aircraft and aviation systems; ships, vessels and naval systems; armed combat vehicles; radio-electronic systems, C4ISR; optoelectronic equipment and systems; unmanned vehicles; military uniform clothing and equipment; weapons and ammunition; simulators and training systems; сhemical, biological and radiation (CBR) protection as well as military organisations; export promotion companies and others.
Stands of the Ministry of Defense Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be placed in the first and third halls and in the open area of the Baku Expo Center. The latest locally produced weapons and military equipment will be displayed here. Professionals will be able to get acquainted with the innovations in the country's defense complex, as well as the existing and growing capabilities of the Azerbaijan Armed Forces.
The outdoor area of the exhibition deserves special attention, where military vehicles, drones, anti-aircraft systems and much more will be presented.
Traditionally, visits of foreign delegations are planned for the exhibition. Thus, 20 countries of the world sent their delegations to ADEX 2022, led by representatives of the military departments of these countries. This list includes countries that participate for the first time with official delegations. These are Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda. The great interest shown in the ADEX exhibition by international delegations and companies once again confirms the high role and importance of Azerbaijan as an important strategic partner. In total, 59 delegations of companies take part in the exhibition.
A large-scale demonstration of modern types of weapons at the ADEX exhibition will create conditions for constructive communication, exchange of experience, and the establishment of effective ties between domestic and foreign experts in the military-technical field.
The 13th International Exhibition for Internal Security, Safety and Rescue Equipment “Securex Caspian” will be held in parallel with ADEX, showcasing promising models of weapons and integrated protection systems deployed by law enforcement, border, rescue, firefighting, and special services. This exhibition is organised with the support of the Ministry of Defence Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan, State Security Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and State Border Guard Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Securex Caspian will contribute to establishing favorable conditions for the development of cooperation, exchange of experience and solving applied problems in the field of internal security of the state, society, and citizens.
The exhibition “Securex Caspian” will feature: alarm & warning and signalling systems; forensic tools & systems; rescue vehicles & equipment; fire safety, etc.
A wide business program has been prepared for "ADEX" and "Securex Caspian" exhibitions. During the three days of the exhibitions sessions on current topics: demining of the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, development prospects and application areas of unmanned systems, the role of armored combat vehicles in the modern combat environment and more will be held. Presentations of startups will also take place within the framework of the exhibition. At the exhibition, bilateral meetings will be held between the participants of the exhibition and representatives of international delegations, as well as profile structures of Azerbaijan. Thus, the "ADEX" exhibition will become an excellent platform for the demonstration of the most modern weapons and the conclusion of new contracts in the field of international military-technical cooperation.
